Oh My Ghost Clients Ep 6 Review: A Turning Point for Justice & Unity

Episode 6 of Oh My Ghost brings a powerful shift, revealing deeper truths, client justice, and growing bonds among the paranormal investigation team.

Spoiler alert

If you’re reading this, you’re probably watching Oh My Ghost Clients—or you’re considering whether to start. Either way, Episode 6 is a good reason to keep going. This episode is the most emotional one yet, and it moves beyond comedy or ghost mystery into something bigger: a story about justice, dignity, and how collective voices can shake even the most rigid systems.

About the Drama

Oh My Ghost Clients (Hangul: 노무사 노무진, also known as Labor Attorney Noh Moo-jin) is a Korean fantasy-action comedy drama starring Jung Kyung-ho, Seol In-ah, and Cha Hak-yeon (N VIXX). Written by Kim Bo-tong and Yoo Seung-hee, and directed by Yim Soon-rye, the drama tells the story of No Mu-jin, a cold labor attorney who suddenly gains the ability to see and communicate with ghosts—ghosts with unfinished business tied to injustice in the workplace. It premiered on MBC TV on May 30, 2025, and airs every Friday and Saturday at 21:50 KST. You can watch it on Netflix, Viu. The drama is expected to run for 10 episodes.

The Custodians Strike

Episode 6 follows the aftermath of the custodians’ strike at Hankuk University, led by No Mu-jin. They’re protesting an outrageous and unfair “knowledge test” required to keep their jobs—a test so stressful it caused the death of Kim Yeong-suk, who worked as a custodian for over 20 years.

Kim Yeongsuk took over Mujin's body and wrote her story. It was very personal. She showed her love towards cleaning and making the students comfortable. From that, you might expect sympathy. Instead, they get contempt.

Students mock the strike. Some threaten legal action. Sticky notes are plastered over Yeong-suk’s personal testimony saying things like: “We don’t care. Just clean up.” “We pay tuition to study, not live in trash.” etc.

It’s heartbreaking, especially after hearing Yeong-suk's ghost finally share her story—how she took pride in her work, how she loved caring for the campus, and how she considered the students like her own children. That dignity is erased in a second.

"This Is Why Everyone Looked Down On You"

The emotional weight of this episode peaks when Mu-jin lashes out at his mother: “You just do as you're told and foolishly put up with everything. That’s why everyone thinks you’re beneath them.”

It’s an explosion of grief, shame, and powerlessness. He’s angry—not just at her, but at a system that conditions people like her to stay quiet and accept injustice in the name of humility.

But his anger doesn’t lead to apathy. It leads to action.

Hope Arrives

Just when everything seems lost, three students arrive at the custodians’ base and say the words no one expected: “We support you.”

These three students admitted that other students don’t actually know what’s going on. This small spark lights a fire. Together, they decide to livestream the knowledge test to expose just how unfair it really is.

The livestream went viral quickly. Viewers are shocked.

Even the university starts to panic. The custodians' manager threatens them with legal action, assuming they won’t understand. But No Mu-jin walks in calmly and pushes back. The tables turn.

"We Pulled This Off"

Eventually, the university folds. The ridiculous test is scrapped. Students launch their own protest in support of the custodians.

At the end of the episode, Go Gyeon-u says with a smile: “We pulled this off.”

Mu-jin asks: “We?”

And Na Hee-ju replies: “Yes, we. Me, you, the custodians, the students, the viewers… everyone.”

It’s a beautiful moment that reminds us real change doesn’t happen because of one hero. It’s a shared effort. Everyone’s small actions matter.

A Quiet Goodbye and a Lasting Message

In the final moments, the late Kim Yeong-suk speaks to Mu-jin. She says: “I’m happy I got to say everything I’d been holding back.” “Maybe I should’ve spoken up earlier.”

It’s a heartbreaking but powerful reminder: silence in the face of injustice doesn’t protect you—it only delays what needs to be said. Her regrets are a call to all of us: speak up, even if it’s uncomfortable. You never know who needs your voice.

Final Thoughts

Episode 6 of Oh My Ghost Clients takes a bold step. For me, it’s more than ghosts and labor investigations—it’s a reflection of what we owe each other as humans.

It made me think: how many people around us are quietly enduring what they shouldn't have to? And how often do we side with convenience instead of justice?

This episode was absolutely worth watching. I’m totally continuing this series. And honestly? I’ll probably be thinking about Episode 6 for a while.
