Perfect Crown is one of the highest-rated K-dramas of 2026. Starred with massive industry names like IU and Byeon Woo-seok, and with high budget, it easily became one of the most anticipated shows of the year, by viewers.
People are definitely tuning in, but on the other side, perfect crown is facing a lot of criticism as well. Viewers are discussing everything from IU and Byeon Woo-seok's acting to the whole Guryumyeongwan crown controversy.
Yet, despite the ongoing debates, the drama maintains a solid 8/10 rating on IMDb.

1. What is your overall opinion on kdrama "Perfect Crown"?
@btw_nidhi.here expressed her opinion as stated "if you ask me about the story, it had too many loop holes. They had the chance in last episode to cover up many loop holes, but they still choose to not do that. And gave that three years gap, which was unnecessary. They tried to give us happy ending, but still lack some things. They didn't show us huiju's family reunion properly. They didn't even let us see our former little king Yi-Yun. But the ending scene was cute and enjoyable so it was a mixed feeling episode. I'll recommend this drama to those viewers who watch dramas with their heart & not with their brain or new kdrama watchers."
While @kdramalogic had something else to say "I tried watching it and dropped it half way through first episode. I feel the leads are dull and no chemistry."
