The upcoming tvN drama is reportedly based on a popular webtoon, "My Reason to Die," by YUJU via Naver, time-loop romance story.
This story is based on Nam ji-oh who gets injured, therefore couldn't participate in the national taekwondo team, leaving her dream behind. Later, she falls in love with a guy named "Cha gyeol", a bad boy but with a good heart. Cha Gyeol, who repeatedly travels time to save the girl he loves, and Nam Ji-oh, who will go against her fate to protect him.
Lee Chae-min will play the role of Cha Gyeol,a boy with a bad reputation and a traumatic childhood who repeatedly experiences death and regression in his efforts to save his first love.
Roh Yoon Seo will play the role of Nam Ji-oh, a highly spirited athlete,preparing for her national-level competition. And despite being the eldest daughter, she never loses her spirit. Her life trajectory changes when she meets Cha Gyol while facing future crises.
According to the sources, Kang Ha Kyung has reportedly been casted as Park U jin.
Both actors have recently gained a surge in global popularity from their latest projects. Lee Chae-min has impressed hearts with his performance in Bon Appétit, Majesty, while Roh Yoon Seo has earned widespread praise for her role in "The East Palace".
Interestingly, both historical dramas dominated Netflix's worldwide rankings, further cementing the rising popularity of the two stars ahead of their much-anticipated reunion in My Reason to Die.
