💓 Love in Sync (July 4)

What if you could feel the same emotions of the person you love?
Yoo Ji An (played by Kang Min Ah) is an actress whose career has been hindered because, according to those around her, she has a lack of empathy. With hopes to improve her performance, she begins therapy with a counsellor who is famous for helping actors achieve their breakthroughs.
However, instead of just ordinary progress, she develops the ability to hear his thoughts and feel every emotion that he feels, leading to the bond between them growing stronger.
With a unique supernatural twist, Love in Sync presents one significant question: is sharing someone’s every emotion a gift, or a curse?

🎞️ Dream To You (July 13)

This is one of July’s most anticipated romance K-dramas, starring Hyeri and Hwang In Yeop.
When the two met as teenagers, the female lead suggested that they make a movie together someday. The male lead never forgot that promise, as he becomes a successful film director years later. When they cross paths again, he invites her to finally help create the film they once dreamed of together.
A movie without an ending… which ends up having an ending that they write themselves.
This romantic comedy already looks like it will be full of nostalgia, chemistry and heartfelt moments.

👻 The East Palace (July 17)

In what seems to be one of the most visually stunning K-dramas of the year, Nam Joo Hyuk finally makes his return to the screen following his military service!
The trailer shows the drama’s remarkable cinematography and haunting visuals. Some viewers have even described it as “Stranger Things in the Joseon era”.
This historical fantasy is set during the Joseon era, where Nam Joo Hyuk plays a man with the rare ability to see and banish spirits. After mysterious deaths begin occurring throughout the royal palace, him and court lady Saeng-gang — who possesses another unique ability which allows her to hear ghosts — join forces. Together, they uncover the palace’s hidden secrets and confront many supernatural forces.

💗 Spooky in Love (July 18)

Love can be complicated… especially when ghosts are involved.
The female lead has had the ability to see spirits all her life, believing that she cannot even hold someone’s hand without supernatural interference. However, as romance starts to blossom, she discovers that love might be a little scarier than ghosts.
This drama blends romance with the supernatural, and Park Eun Bin once again shows her incredible versatility with a role that is completely different from her previous performances.

One of the year’s most anticipated sequels is finally here!
Jeong Ji An has become the new CEO of Murthehelp and reunites with her uncle as they prepare for their comeback against Babylon.
There is also a noticeable role reversal in the trailer, as the uncle would be the one saying “Listen up, Ji An”, which has now evolved into Ji An saying “Listen up, uncle.”
There is a lot of action, intense fight scenes and confrontations to expect when this series returns.

🍜 Love on the Menu (July 25)

This heartwarming romance encapsulates the statement ‘opposites attract’ perfectly.
The female lead runs a small market side-dish shop while raising her four younger siblings and she has a tendency to always put everyone else’s needs before her own. Her fear of attachment forces her to push the male lead away before love even has a chance to begin.
Meanwhile, the male lead lives a secret double life. Even though he was born into wealth, the talented restaurant owner prefers a much simpler lifestyle, and in order to avoid attention, he even takes public transport!
With tropes of family, food and romance, Love on the Menu will end July on a warm and comforting note.
